* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
accumulations between 4 and 8 inches and ice accumulations around
three tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Ashland, Bayfield, and Iron Counties. This includes the
Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band, the Bad River Reservation and
the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band. Other locations
including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline
Island.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Northeast winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and
waves 6 to 11 ft.

* WHERE...Portions of Lake Superior.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Conditions will remain hazardous to smaller
vessels from Sunday evening through early Monday morning. Small
Craft Advisories will be needed after gales subside.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.
